HarrowgateGas has obviously run into to some leaking CXI's, I have'nt, my own included.

All boilers will suffer, some from manufacture, some from installation and others from neglect.

The 38 CXI is better value than the Valliant Ecotec 831.

But its your choice.

Go with Harogate Gas Vaillant are well established-even I`ve heard good about them There are many parts to modern boilers so build quality is important

I have too, quite a few of them. Plus overheating and blocked dhw heat exchangers....but then there are very few vailliants around here to make a fair comparison.
