after investigating the forum for this kind of information i,m still uncertain as to how to:
1. install low voltage undercabinet lights.
2. install mains undercabinet strip lights. The kind that are linked together.

The problem for me with all the various info. on a particular subject is that there seem to be too many exceptions and little that is commonly definitive. Probably its only my lack of comprehension.

Perhaps someone would walk me thro the procedure?

First of all, if you need to ask questions like this, should you be undertaking the work.....if you feel confident in doing so...

How & where do you want the lights switching from ?

"Please do not take my comment to heart, poorly installed electrics can be....shocking  "

il78, i wish to switch:
1. from under the cabinets, either pull or toggle.
2 alternatively, from the wall by the entrance door.
