IP rating for spotlights in kitchen/bathroom

Depends where abouts they are.
In terms of protection against the ingress of moisture, there is no requirement for kitchens that I am aware of. For bathrooms, it is dependant on the zone, but generally IPX4 with 30mA RCD protection as a minimum for mains lighting in zones 1 and 2.

If they are in the ceiling void, be sure to keep the free from dust and any insulation.
