Seems a bit of an opening out from Iran into some whatabouttery in what happens in other countries.
Some more whatabouttery, the female mutilation of women's genitals sounds a bit unsavory, some might think it's a good idea.

Opening out the question of mistreatment is the whole point.
The typical racists want to emphasise the mistreatment of women in Islamic countries as part of their narrative of islamophobia.
But because the typical racists choose to ignore the mistreatment of women in western democracies, it's absolutely correct to include them as a balance of the whole issue.
Just like the cruelty to animals is usually phrased in terms of how bad the EU nations are, meanwhile ignoring cruelty to animals in UK and other countries.
Then there's the highlighting of riots in multicultural areas, while ignoring violent disturbances in connection with football matches.
Then there's the sex abuse issue, ....
Are you beginning to see the pattern of the racist narrative?

The pro choice crowd get round this problem by claiming that unborn children aren't really human.

Good to see people standing up to the male oppression of women. Gets my thumbs-up.
Meanwhile, the mad mullahas in the USA are attempting to ban women entirely from having control of their own (reproductive) bodies. They are also trying to turn the USA into a religious state, attempting to allow the church (white Christian nationalists) supersede the laws of the land and constitution.

No it isn't, woman can do what they like with their bodies.
Woman have to accept that nature, biology or God, or whatever description you want to use, has decreed that they are the entry point for humanity enter this world.
Men have no say in the biological functions in regard to female pregnancy.
