Seems some think France should apologise for using tear gas. Rightly they wont. Reason is simple. Next step would have to be a police charge where some people will usually be hurt. That wasn't needed.

The majority of Liverpool fans where there for a good time. So I do think the police were wrong. I remember the old days when I had to be lifted on to the roof of the turnstiles by a stranger because police horses being used to try and gain order. Paris was like going back to the 70s...
