Hi guys,

I'm doing some home improvements and looking to upgrade my light switches. My current switches are white and I was looking for some black ones but then I came across this site https://www.cmelec.co.uk/anthracite-switches-and-sockets-t1627 which sells switches in an anthracite colour. From the pictures it's hard to tell how different they are from black, would anyone recommend this colour or shall I stick with black?

Thanks in advance!

Just to add, items labeled as 'Anthracite' usually conform to RAL7016 - a code that allows any manufacturer to colour match.

The RGB value for anthracite is 56:62:66 - there is a fair amount of blue in the mix and depending on circumstances and surrounding colour schemes, Anthracite can become a very blue shade of grey (the RGB values in a pure grey would be fairly similar to each other).
