Is Time Travel Possible?

To be fair, they have other things on their mind ...

The dork is slimmer than I thought possibly because he is spouting it all out here again tonight.

The draught of the OP did contain a clause that ruled you out.

I really did think you'd know the answer.

You disappoint me.
Draught? Did you mean Draft? Your OP was not a liquid.

Using uncommon words to make you sound clever doesn't work, especially if you get it wrong. :D

Do you think its possible for objects with mass to travel faster than the speed of light?

Not really, the Sunset is the effect of the light traveling through the atmosphere. Milliseconds old at best.
The photons that are hitting your eye, left the sun just over 8 minutes before, so you are seeing the sun as it was 8 minutes ago. Hence you are looking back in time. What you are seeing has occurred 8 minutes before. I'm not referring to the optical illusion that a sunset causes when the photons refract on the atmosphere.

don’t they reach infinite mass at the speed of light?
According to Einstein, yes. But there are theories exploring the ability to compress and expand space. So called Warp waves.

You're thinking of accelerating something to the speed of light. There getting things closer to C takes an infinite amount of energy in an exponential curve.

I don't think anyone smart, would say something is impossible.

The bottom line and I can't prove this. Someone I know claims to have travelled in time and met himself talking about travelling in time. By "met" I mean saw like in movies as you cannot interact when you leave your ground zero time zone.

We already see time travel examples of these telescopes watching far-flung galaxies that disappeared billions of years ago possibly but it is taken so long for the time to travel to be seen in a telescope.

Thanks
