Israel under attack

The wife was doing her knitting, i asked her what did she think was the cause of conflict between Arabs and Jews
She said that the Arabs were lazy and the Jews were greedy.
I thought that must be the best analysis of the Israel /Palestine conflict I've heard for a long time.

Simplistic

But sort of pretty much sums it up may be ?

Simplistic is good imo

The only newsworthy part of the above, is the fact the the two Palestinians who were shot are still alive.
The Gaza wall is fitted with automatic sensor activated machine guns. The exclusion zone is 1 kilometre wide in the Gaza territory.
Anyone entering that zone is 'automatically' fired upon.

Does she work for the UN?, if not, she should.

Did they switch it off two weeks ago?

14000 was just making a point relevant to population size

So it is relevant imo

Your point about palistinian is over several decades as well

1947 /8 ??

So what’s yer point ???
You're making a value judgement based on ratio - Does that mean a lower ratio has less relevance ? 3000 to 330 million in the 9/11 attacks. It's a silly point.

You do realise you are making my point ?

Thats what i thought. LOL.
The wife had a Jewish grandfather, so she isn't really anti semitic.
He was married to her grandmother, who was English protestant.
They had a large family, when her grandfather died he was buried in a Jewish graveyard in Manchester, when his wife died, she was buried in another graveyard and her childen are buried with her including the wifes father.
It seems because her grandmother wasn't Jewish she and any of her children couldn't be buried alongside the grandfather.
Weird religion.

Lot more effective than a big sign saying, Trespassers will be prosecuted.

I'm sure they'll let you know just as soon as they do - two prisoners released and twenty trucks 'allowed' into Gaza; so the deal is one prisoner for every ten aid trucks. Sounds like a good deal til it's said Gaza needs one hundred aid trucks per day.

Meanwhile; questions about the explosion at the al-Ahli hospital remain as the Israeli army prepares to march into the rubble...several news organisations including Al Jazeera have analysed video footage of the incident in recent days to piece together what happened. While Al Jazeera continues to gather information, here is what you need to know.

While the IDF await the green light i wonder why they continue the bombing campaign at all. It's long been acknowledged that destroying buildings creates difficult fighting conditions for armour and provides additional cover for defenders so why persist in flattening buildings at all?
Dropping ordnance on Saint Porphyrius Church serves no strategic purpose whatsoever and the Israeli military must be aware civilians are taking shelter.

Although Israel have no jurisdiction over Egypt / Gaza border

A bloke I know who maintains swimming pools has a Jew for a customer. He said the customer is always banging on about how beautiful it is in Israel. When he asked him why, if it’s so good, doesn’t he live there he got the reply "No money to be made there, too many Jews".

Why then has the aid convoy not been allowed in to Gaza before now?
Israel's military acknowledged it had damaged the church site while targeting what it said was a Hamas command center nearby”

Ive no idea what the actual truth is

Why bomb them at all if a military invasion is already planned?
