Israel has revised downwards the death toll from last month’s Hamas attacks in the south of the country from 1,400 to about 1,200, a foreign ministry spokesperson said. The revision is “due to the fact that there were lot of corpses that were not identified and now we think those belong to terrorists … not Israeli casualties,” they said on Friday.

It has no more legitimacy then Al Jazeera, Thg Grayzone or any other website. Indeed it was setup precisely to counter other opnions.

The RussiavsWorld web site is in exactly the same position. It was set up purely to counter RT, and its contributors. It has no more legitimacy than RT, Rationalwiki nor AlJAzeera nor the Grayzone.
In short they're all 'dissing' each other.

The report is supported by the current Israeli strategy of bombing schools, hospitals, refugee camps, basically anything that moves, irrespective of whether there are Israeli hostages there or not.

I would have thought it was obvious. Intitially Israel exaggerated the death toll from the 7th October, while arguing that the Hamas toll of dead, dying, and injured civilians is exaggerated.

The first casualty of war.......

What I do know, which is absolutely logical, that a pause for humanitarian reasons does nothing to stop the killing of even more civilians. Only a ceasefire can do that.

What's the point of allowing food, medicime and basic necessities to people, then continue to bomb them indiscriminately, hours afterwards?
