I don't understand why they're clearing the north of Gaza. What happens after they've swept thru it with their fine toothed comb?

Are they going to give everyone 24hrs notice to move back in while they clear the south???

I think that’s the plan. Move them out of the way, flatten the area, move them back, flatten another area etc etc

I believe Israel has a right to defend itself…..but, that right is not a free pass.

Israel is a democratic country and therefore has to comply with international laws.


I see these as potential Israeli international humanitarian law violations over next few days:

1) cutting off electricity, water, food and med supplies - ie a siege thats acceptable against civilian population

2) indiscriminate bombing of civilian population

3) civilians should have humanitarian aid and support - Israel have closed borders


Israel will be judged internationally by its actions over the coming days and weeks

I sort of hope the Israelis do a good job, but then again, they will be all paddling over the channel in a few months time and exchange their hate from the jews to the brits... can we really cope with much more multi-multiculturalism
