So treatment isn't treatment everywhere. In that case, maybe we should be expected to contribute extra for GP consultation, if the parallel is to be made
dextrous- i saw my oncologist 1st as a private fee paying patient. he proceeded to refer me to the nhs and see me still as his own patient as the private cost of my chemo was a minimum of £80000 for 6 months. thats not the price he sets, but what i would pay for those drugs. the nhs treated me for free with his supervision. the money the drug companies charge is unbelieveable( justifed or otherwise) so the small conttributions we make are worthwhile.
