The same tactic is used by supporters of Israel's genocide who seek to derail and bury criticism or even mention of it by throwing in diversions and attempting to introduce confusion.
There really are documents and websites advising Zionists how to do it.

- Denying Palestinians any agency or voice in managing their own affairs or their future direction, essentially making them invisible. Israel, the United States, Arab states, and others speak up on how to manage Palestinian lands now under Israeli control, attack, or siege.
