It was very windy yesterday in the south. Sounds like penetration rain from a specific angle. Also take some better pics.

What is the pitch of the roof? You can measure it with most modern smartphones from from ceiling inside. It looks very low pitched?

12 degrees according to the velux app. Google says 10-20 degrees minimum

Is the Velux top hung or centre pivot?

Just looked it's actually a centre pivot.

Also at the top flashing or surround or what ever its called is a red clip either side.. these weren't pushed in and the trim/flashing was loose . I've pushed them in now

Can you do the obvious?
Open the velux, stick your head out and have a look...

What type of tiles are they and what is their minimum pitch?
Its possible water is blowing in and they have not installed the felt properly at the top which should be folded over and the tar type adhesive applied to divert the water (been a while since I installed mine)
