Not going to mention the scumbags that did this terrible crime but watching his dad speak on tv I was still choked up as I was 20years ago and found it hard to listen how he dealt with it.....us lot as parents could not even imagine what it would be like to be in that position ...god bless them

Yes but you have to remember that the perpetrators were only children themselves and both from abusive homes. They were as much victims as criminals. Very true - personally I think more needs to be done on research into the condition of psycopathy - sadly people from all walks of life display it - it can make you a captain of industry or a killer . Just my personal opinion .

I havn't read the entire thread, I got to the bit about turning off at this story and agree - this is what I do as I was upset at the time as my son James was the same age and we had recently been to that shopping centre.

I turn the telly over when it comes on.

Society must take its share of the blame. Look at that guy who had 16 kids for no other reason than to boost his income from the social.
Then decided he would burn five of them alive in his home as a means of getting rid of them.

It was society who doled him out the money to have the kids in the first place. Theres a a few champions of this social way of life on here who probably reckon he was "entitled" to the income from the taxpayer!

Some people are born psycopaths.
In war some men can kill with ease whilst many others hestitate to kill their fellow man. In WW2 only one percent of the pilots accounted for thirty to forty percent of enemy fighters shot down in the air.

Well ban violent games and videos then. THAT is where the problem lies. They were just 10 years old, and brainwashed by bad parents and bad games. They should have joined the Cubs. Society is wrong - so change society. Get violence and sex off the TV. Get discipline back in the house and in the schools. Revenge against a couple of dumb kids is just plain mental.

No, it's well documented that some of the most powerful in industry are psychopaths. Psychopathy just means you are unable to feel any empathy for your fellow man, doesn't necessarily mean you'll be a murderer.

No, it's well documented that some of the most powerful in industry are psychopaths. Psychopathy just means you are unable to feel any empathy for your fellow man, doesn't necessarily mean you'll be a murderer.
