So John has been found not guilty. Even if he had been found guilty he'd only be fined £2K. But the taxpayer has had to pay for the trial, I bet the total bill for that is £300,000 or more!

I understand the CPS employed some high powered barrister, so that's a cost.
Terry's side are now apparently seeking costs for their efforts - so me more cost to the state.

The whole point is being called a black c**t.
That's what John Terry said. He even admitted it in court. My point is , that had one of us shouted out that to someone across the street /bar and had been reported, ,,, we'd have felt the full force of the law upon us. I'm sure we could have used any excuse in the world and would have still been found guilty Unless we had JT's lawyers on our case.
