or should I say a blatant case of bad faith politics
IE designed to fail.

in Feb 2016 Johnson said: the Irish border will not be affected by Brexit

In Oct 2019 Johnson said: Ireland will need to have 2 borders to achieve Brexit.

The Irish wont agree to it -they wont be party to facilitation of an English Brexit.

Its disaster capitalism x disaster politcs.

After a hard Brexit, Boris plan is to have minimal or no border checking by the UK thus forcing the EU to manage the border.

He can then blame the EU for all the calamity. In the ensuing carnage he will cut regulation, public services and sign trade deals opening up UK Industry.

Topping it off the UK will become a fully fledged tax Haven. Thus like the tax havens in Belize, Bahamas, Bermuda with pockets of extreme wealth in a sea of poverty.

I see Johnson has a great vusion for the Irish border, inspired by North Korea.

He thinks a DMZ is the solution

Sounds like an excellent compromise and it's not so far been rubbished by the eu leaders so it's certainly a good starting point for ongoing negotiations. Bojo's requesting
another prorogation from the 8th - 14th, that should keep a few idiots out of the way.

If the GFA states that there should be no military installations on the border, surely that is a 'demilitarized zone'.

The DUP have agreed to Boris's proposals, I cant imagine the republicans would be foolish enough to reject it.

Hey Notch, is this you?

A KEEN Remainer is stockpiling self-righteousness in his garage in preparation for a no-deal Brexit.

Joseph Turner of Bristol is worried that his previously inexhaustible stocks of smugness will quickly run out once no-deal has happened, so is making sure he still has sufficent supplies in reserve.

But won't there be a period between the Tory conference ending and prorogation beginning where the idiots will be set loose?

:LOL::LOL:
Mind you the smugometer has been superceded more by shouting abuse and angry comments from some lately, maybe they need a cheeky squeeze of the thigh..

Have you found a single benefit of Brexit yet?

Or is your smuogmeter so off the scale you just think that belief is good enough.

No, it's timed to close parliament before the Queen's speech and reopen on the 14th for a new parliamentary session, it's the usual procedure.
its a little 'odd' if you don't mind me saying, to suggest Boris is afraid of PMQ's, he always appears to thoroughly enjoy wiping the floor with the opposition.

What they need in the negotiation is a team made up of:
- someone who can create infographics and silly posters
- someone who thinks the UK is doomed for the trashcan
- someone who thinks they are an expert on EU law, but never went to law school
- someone who thinks its all the doing of the UK and we should take our beatings and ask for more.

where would we find such a team? :D

Heres an idea, why dont we send somebody who doesnt care about the UK nor Brexit and has no interest in negotiating because all he cares about is getting 5vyears of power.

Oh no, that is who we have chosen.

Ps you are conflating criticism of the Bredit campaign and its lies with critcism off the UK.

Its lucky there are some MPs in parliament that put this country first in front of their own career and dont want a no deal Brexit.

Brexit will diminish the UK, hence why Im not keen.
