Province is an obselete term for N. I. refers to the old 4 provinces of Ireland.
Under the act of Union N. I. has the right to self determination that makes it a country in its own right same as Scotland and Wales.
The responsibility for what could entail will lie with the EU and Dublin.

N.Ireland is a nation within the UK, you referred to it as a region , if you consider it a region then you must consider Scotland and Wales as regions (Wales strictly speaking is a principality)

I claimed that Govt debt and deficits were limited by the maastrict treaty, 60% of gdp for debt and 3% of gdp for deficits, you said that was rubbish and no such figures were quoted in the Maastricht treaty, I then posted a link to the treaty and quoted the article, annexe and page numbers where the figures are quoted.
You still dispute it, even though it's there, in black and white, on your beloved Maastricht treaty.
If you can get something so basic, so wrong, or you're prepared to lie and argue that black is blue, it discredits everything you say, nothing you say can be either believed or taken seriously, you're simply 'spouting stuff'.
