Just can't get the staff these days

We need to scrap Social Security and Unemployment benefits immediately.

All sectors in the UK, Transport, Hospitality, Health Care, Food Processing, Building, Abattoirs, manufacturing .....the list is endless .... . all desperately short of workers, and yet we have 1.6 million feckers who apparently can't find a job. Stop the benefits now and if they are wanting tattoos, fags, iphones, fancy painted nails and a belly the size of a beached whale then they will have to get a job - no excuses there's jobs everywhere.

and scrap the min wage, if these benefit bingers are as useless as I imagine they are then pay them what they are worth - even if its 50p an hour

Why would you want to turn an alleged 1st world country into a 3rd world country.
Unemployment is already dropping, anyway zero unemployment is impossible as the economy would seize up.
Quote.

Economists divide the reasons people are unemployed into five reasons: cyclical, structural, seasonal, frictional and institutional. For the unemployment rate to become zero, all five would have to disappear. Cyclical unemployment happens because the economy goes through periodic cycles of booms and busts.

We won't change to third world, despite the legions of third worlders who are now swelling the population. Least not in our lifetimes. Though we're definitely headed to second world. The evidence is all around us. Someone summed up this country the other day, saying we're a country of shiny new cars driving on rotten, unrepaired roads.

Bloody Poles are cleaning our windows now.

Why did some foreign workers stay ? The reason a lot went back is because the wages became more attractive in their homeland.

People migrate, start new lives, some feel this is their home now, and are happy in their jobs, family life, friends circles. Others, decide to go back home. for many reasons - better jobs at home, homesick, family members become unwell, experiences of xenophobia, etc. Everybody has a reason for their action.

Do you live in the town you were born in? If not, why don't you go back to that town? Same push and pull factors at play regardless of how far you travel in life.

Indeed, many reasons to move back, can't blame Brexit.
