road works M1 s/b j21 to j20......they have those average speed cameras.


so dont go over 40 !!!! (unless u stop for 20 mins in the contraflow !!) or u will get a ticket (if the car is registered to u!!)

never heard of that type of speed camera before!

u must have..i was probably not clear.

they clock ur car reg at a point on the motorway and then again some miles down the road and work out what speed u were doing to have reached that point in a said amount of time.

if u did over 40 mph ( example..ie in the aformentined road works) u get a ticket amd some points.

so its possible to loose ur licence in under a week if u commute and was not aware !!

that system much catch loads of people

few weeks ago on TV they said they expect to catch 3 million people speeding this year alone

so, thats 180 million pounds from speeding tickets alone
