Al I know is I don't get my lights dimming when the shower starts.

Maybe mine is a soft-start...

Hi all! Was back at the customers today and I think iv got it sorted! Measured voltages as suggested. With only the light on, got 219v soon as shower and oven and kettle went on voltage dropped to 211v and the fitting started to flash untill the loading was reduced! Iv just put a hf fitting up as I doubt the dno will be increasing there supply cable any time soon!
Thanks for all help!

What's the voltage with everything off?

219V is within tolerance, 211V is not, and I would have expected the supply to be able to deliver the rated current and stay within the voltage limits laid down by law.

Have you checked the incomer connections in the CU? Connections in any Henleys?

Does the cutout feel warm?

I wouldn't just leave it - something might be loose.
