Hi

Looked through previous threads and seems could be a few reasons, but wanted some simply explained bespoke advice on this please

Leak coming into top of window when rains heavy (see red circle picture of entry)

2 bed semi property, downstairs kitchen window

Can see on pics, and not sure if linked but water damage to window bubbles and a 'scar' above window too now and a brown stain on kitchen roof too around 0.5m away from window

Read online could be a number of things:

1. Pointing/mortar in bricks (already plugged some gaps) Admit the front is a little flakey. I am going to apply a water brick seal when ironically weather clears and might get a quote for re-pointing front
2. Roof - already had someone quote to refitting and secure bottom metre or so felt as seems a common cause? £850?
3. Lack of cavity window tray above- was quoted £400 to install?
4. Windows itself - someone due out mid Jan to inspect drainage ect, all masking seems on face value okay. Also read online around needing 'lead head flashing and ends'?

As you can tell, I'm bouncing around causes and not ideally wanting to throw £££ into each and every option as could rack into thousands but at the same time it needs sorting as causing no end of stress plus damage - finding reliable tradesman never easy too for all trades above

Any advice much appreciated on most likely if even possible?! If it can be please explained in simply terms as possible as admittedly not technically minded!

Thanks
