Hi I was wondering if anyone could help. I'm looking to get a builder to knock an internal wall down, however i was wondering if anyone would be able to tell if it was likely to be load bearing. The wall is made from studwork and is part of a single story extension. The wall in question is the one which has the turquoise picture on and divides the extension up. I have included photos and the original plans if these would help. I appreciate that no one might be able to give a definitive answer without seeing it personally but I would be most grateful if anyone could give an idea. Cheers

I would assume that the extension is reasonably recent? 20 years?
Would the planning application still be online/available?

The builder should be able to check if it's a supporting wall or just there to divide the extension.
Not always the case, but generally if the wall goes in the same direction of the roof rafters, it's not a supporting wall.
Again, there maybe more than meets the eye.
Any chance you can speak to the architect who did the drawing at the time?

It seems unlikely to be load bearing, and there would be no reason for it to be especially if it's timber and plasterboard.

I'm thinking its adding stiffness to the wall with two large openings! that and the fact its vaulted.
