How do Labour intend on getting this many actual skilled workers.
We have currently 2.7 Million supposedly tradesmen.

How many of that 2.7 million are actually skilled.
I mean how many of that 2.7 million are good at their job?

Anybody would think we need a scheme for uk trained skills. Won’t help with this target BUT I do blame Blair for ignoring the 50% of youths who didn’t go to university

The target will be hamstrung by skilled labour shortages, shortage of materials snd a lack of planning officers who will have a lot of big applications coming across their desks. Better trading arrangements with Europe will help on shortages plus visas and free movement on workers

How do Labour intend on getting this many actual skilled workers.

They won't be skilled.

They will be imported from other countries, and after the inevitable 10 tiers of subcontracting, those at the bottom actually doing the work will be the lowest paid unskilled types that can be found.
The buildings will be thrown together at the lowest possible price, oversight will consist of some private building inspector having a quick look a one property on an estate of 100s, and in a few years there will be a vast pile of problems which others will have to sort out at vast expense.

Of course by then the Labour government will be long gone and those responsible will have disappeared.

This is the problem. People who no nothing about the industry and those who do are only in it to build their bank accounts.
