Strange seeing it from that age in such beautiful colour - it looks as though it could have been taken yesterday.
We are so used to seeing old photos in monochrome that we forget that they lived in colour. The colour gives
it an immediacy - bringing it to life - and makes us realize that in many ways, their world was not much different than ours.

Yes it' strange isn't it. I often think that, it's as though they all lived in sepia.
