I think it's still kicking about somewhere, actually. Then it was VHS, now DVD-R and BD.
Why pay through the nose for pre-recorded discs? And what's more, I've occasionally paid good money for one only to find it has several minutes of warnings about piracy that you can't skip or even fast-forward through. That in itself is a strong motivation to record my own!
Cottaging in the country ?I'm trying to remember the name of a book (or is it a film??) that someone told me about recently.
Anyone heard of it?
