Law firm comment on Hung Parliaments

In a general election you should vote for the MP who will best represent your interests at a national level. That means stuff like income tax or cruise missiles or the provision of sex education in schools (don't get me started :mad: :mad: :mad: ). It doesn't matter which party they belong to. Our fixation on parties is one of the things that's wrong with our political system.

For things that happen locally, that's what your council is for. Vote for the one(s) who you think have the best policies for your area. Example; how often will they empty your dustbin? :?: :?: :?:

It isn't unusual for people to vote differently in general and local elections. I know two who vote Labour in general elections but Liberal or Independent in local ones. There is no contradiction in this.
