Lawnflite 991 SP6 Lawn mower

Hi, I've been given the above mower as my friend has a new one. I can't seem to find any manuals online to help with trouble shooting.

It starts and runs absolutely fine, but it doesn't self propel which I knew about, but I want to see what I can do with it. Not sure if it's a well known brand or not as I can't find any downloads for manuals/servicing. Any help appreciated, thanks.

If it’s the self propulsion you are worried about, look for a belt that goes from the engine to the rear axle.....it could be missing or just jumped off the pulleys.
Tip the machine back on its handles, not on its side unless the oil has been drained out.
Next, the self drive is engaged by operating one of the handles on the handlebar.......there will be a Bowden cable which could have snapped or needs adjustment.
If that’s all ok, then next we head for the rear wheels, but a bit at a time!
