Hi everyone
Been looking through this site for a couple of days and thought i could give you my advice, Shan Fr is completely right, if you are going to replace a gutter on by the sounds of it a nice big house, 21meters of gutter should be either broke up every 2m if using code 5 by a 50mm step or as Shan says get a qualified leadworker in and get him to replace the gutter using expansion joing as show in the PDF file. We use this when no other solutions can be found, it has got a manufacturers garantee of 10 years but say it will last 20 years, worst comes to worst replace some of the previous expansion joint better that paying again for the opposed solution.
hope this helps
regards
