Leading Brexiteer to build a new car...

Sell what 'stuff' exactly?

And if we were to have the capability/skilled workforce/capacity to manufacture all that 'stuff', where do we get the resources/raw materials from to make said 'stuff'?

The reason why we have a trade deficit is nothing to do with how or who we do trade with, it's because the UK doesn't have much to offer and there is no possibility to change that!

You do seem to want to show your ignorance at every opportunity available!

UK manufacturing has certainly declined dramatically in the last few decades, but it's still the 9th largest manufacturing nation in the world and the 4th largest in the EU.

As for raw materials, they come from all round the world, no EU countries are in the top 10 for raw material resources.

List exactly what we export...

'stuff' isn't an accepted answer...

Mostly services

Especially Financial Services

Which exceed the total value of all UK manufacturing.

For some unaccountable reason (Boris can't think why) the EU is reluctant to allow a foreign country, which does not commit to follow EU standards and regulations, to transact business within its territory or to sell services to its companies and citizens.

Would you put all your money in an Icelandic or Panamanian bank?

What is interesting to note is that in general UK trade balances overall have been better under labour administrations than tory ones...

Do you think your data is a little out of date?

Especially in light of last years massive reductions.

Note that by January 2020, a massive reduction of 30%.

There was an 'unseasonal' decline in exports beginning January 2020.
Continuous line is previous 12 months, and dotted line is 12 months prior to that.

We could attribute that decline to Covid 19 but imports were much less affected, and that effect was not detected until a month later.

UK exports diamonds?? Didn't know there were any diamond mines in the UK. I guess it must mean cut diamonds or perhaps industrial diamonds.
