Leaf blower or vac

My yard is probably getting on for about 100m^2 and I would say it's just about OK for the MacAllister "corded blower/vac" I got from Screwfix. It actually does a pretty good job even on wet leaves and having them shredded is a bonus but I'm not sure it's much quicker overall than a rake/brush. And when you forget to do the zip up on the bag it gets messy :) But for £40 I am quite impressed, though it is a corded model.

On our lawn/paddock we try to use the tractor mower which has a powered collector. We get several inches deep leaves sometimes so it's a real job! I would LOVE a BillyGoat but they start from a grand for the entry level one :(
Do you have this one?

Yes or near as anything. The first one I had the bag split after only a short time - best to dry it before storing after use - but they replaced it and it seems quite decent.

Is your garden mostly lawn?
All lawn. Been looking after it this year and apparently leaves can cause issues...

Definitely they do. It doesn't look like you'd be getting masses though unless there's a huge tree behind you?
It looks like you could quite easily blow the leaves straight into the field which might save you a job? Or would Mr. Farmer be upset :)

Does the mower work in this capacity when we have the depths of winter upon us?
Seems to do the trick ... Maybe not if there's been raining that day though.. but a vac wouldn't work either... you do feel bit of a moron mowing your lawn in November though lol
