Leaking through top of bathroom and toilet window surrounds

What may have happened when you had the big downpour is the channels between the tiles got overwhelmed because of all the moss on the roof, and the soil pipe penetration gave the water access into the house instead of the gutter.

Thanks. The felt is torn around the soil pipe in the attic. But if you are suggesting that it is running down between the tiles and the felt, then surely a) the ingress would have been visible in the attic; or b) say it was running down the side of the soil pipe and I didn't see it, then it would pool between the joists in the attic, and then come through the ceiling around the soil pipe, rather than through the top of the window surround?
