Leaking Tivoli 2 shower, is it the Valve Cartridge?

Hi, I sincerely hope someone can help. I'll keep it short and simple.

Tivoli shower leaks about 3/4 bathtub per day.

I have stripped down the shower head as most YouTube videos advise when "changing value cartridge" this one in particular

Once I've gotten to the meat of it, I assumed I would turn the large nut anti-clockwise to release the cartridge. however, this switches on the water supply as the whole thing rotates. I am unable to isolate the nut from anything else.

My question is... Is this unit different and you cannot remove the "cartridge"? Is the half-broken filter causing the leak? Do I need to remove the whole thing off the wall?

I have a plumber booked in for the end of November, I sincerely hope someone can help before then.

It may have seized up with scale etc. Along handled (12" or more) pair of pump pliers may provide sufficient extra leverage to remove it.
