Thinking of building a lightweight, lean-to, greenhouse/conservatory thing on the front of our 1930s semi. It would be just a structure to enclose a paved platform slightly above street level, extending out about 1m from the front bay of the ground floor.
The idea it’s just somewhere to keep the rain off, so this currently little used tiny space becomes useful, for growing a few plants, taking mucky boots off etc. I’d probably just use ordinary window glass.
The house wall is pebbledash so I’d need to find a mortar line to install flashing. But the bay is clad in Terra cotta roof tiles on its three sides, attached in overlapping style the same as on our roof. How would I go about attaching the structure to a tile-clad 3-sided bay wall like this?
