Hi all

Was just reading an earlier post about the kitchen lighting and its got me thinking. I currently have a fan with a built in light in my bathroom.

The plan was to fit 4 additional downlights. I now think it would be better to have a nice stylish led light in the centre controlled by the pull cord switch

And fit a separate switch outside the room adjacent to the fan isolator to controls the fan light which my wife can use when she wants a relaxing bath.

The fan would be controlled by the main light.

Any thoughts or suggested. Websites etc for lights.

Thank you

Francis

What a disappointment I thought there would be a picture of your wife relaxing in the bath, however since you have an opening window you don't need a fan, so you can wire it any way you want, I like many others on this site do not like down lighters, for a light to work well it needs an area of light greater than the 2" of the down light, I would go for a surface light between 4 and 6 inches diameter, something like this

looking for a picture I found this web site any of the lamps would do the job, the problem as always with a web site is the pictures don't always show you what to expect, I would go to local whole sale outlet and ask them what they have.
