LED Light switch on problem

Back again after a trip to replace lamps and lights at IKIA. (Had the same batch of lights but no concerns from other purchasers!)
Refit and switched on (Using std switch) only 1 came on again! Switched off and back on ~ both on. Just decided to wire the timer back in again and getting mixed results. Mostly both on then odd times 1 on, not yet had a total failure.

i have the same problem. mine is not even connected to a timer. just the normal switch and i get random on/off combination on 4 units. what is certain is once the light is on, it never turns off. the only problem is the initial switch on. i do notice the Ikea GX53 led bulb are actually dimmable. does anyone know if this might be the problem? do i need a dimmable switch?
