Hi - on one side of our kitchen we have had a G4 bulb undercabinet light (see pic 5) replaced with a new transformer and LED strip ok. It's connected to a single switched spur.
On the other side of the kitchen we wanted to replace the similar 2 G4 bulb light fittings (see pic 5) with LED strips too. However on this side, there was one single wall switch controlling the 2 seperate lights. Just replacing (as per the working side of the kitchen already mentioned) the old light fittings each with its LED transformer (see second pic) and LED strips has yet to result in the strips lighting up
The cabling from the switch goes into a junction box with the cables to the light fittings sprouting from this (see photos) - with some sort of orange transformer (see pic 3) looping from and straight back into this junction box (see photo 4).
To get my new strips to work could removing the orange transformer be the answer? Or might I have to just replace this junction box with one of my new led transformers and just connect the 2 strips into it (it says that can be done on the insructions that came with it), acknowledging that i'll need a longish non lit bit of of the LED strip to reach around (see first pic) to the second cabinet to go under? appreciate any pointers - probably too small a job to get a pro out to rectify I suspect
