Liebherr fridge/freezer seems broken?

The freezer compartment was a bit icy so I chipped out all the blocks, carefully, and afterwards I noticed the compartment had a gassy smell when I opened it.

Now the fridge doesn't seem to be cold and the freezer is gradually cooling - things aren't as solid as they should be.

Any ideas?

You either did not chip it out carefully enough & have damaged one of the elements, in which case you need a new appliance. Or it just needs defrosting properly, by emptying & switching off for at least 24 hours. Read & follow the manufacturers instructions.

Fairly safe to say you have knackered it. Never chip ice out an appiance. Defrost it properly.
