I have several LED strip lights in the garage which are connected to 2 switches - 1 at the front door and 1 at the back next to a side door.
I fitted a new light to a pre wired cable (sparky added this when he fitted the other lights) and now the switch at the front doesn't work but the switch at the back does?
The switch worked prior to fitting the extra light but i don't see why it doesn't now?

Any ideas?

Thanks

The cable runs from the next light unit (linked) and into the junction box.
I checked the other junction boxes to check wiring colours and connected the 2 wires from the light the same.

Just seems strange the other light switch works and this 1 doesn't now?

Have you connected the new lamp to the switch cable in the jb instead of the load?

If you post pics there are plenty of experts who will guide through the process of resolving the wiring.
