Exactly Flame...........the real answer is to build houses without any windows and doors.............that'll keep that lovely heat in!

There's plenty of basically 'plasterboard+skim' thickness downlights that would mean no celotex penetration.

Was looking at some earlier that were 8w and I think a 95mm cutout, bigger than usual but not horrific like a lot of the ultra thin ones

Yeah.............I've seen those, they have integrated bulbs, so you have to change the whole fitting when the lamp fails, I think screwfix sell them
