It is strange that some come and go, like whitespirit, norcon, handyjack, yourself, gasmam28, mightygob, et al. yet they all espouse so similar political beliefs. Some immediately start abusing me. (like yourself) Some of them I can assume they have been banned, but others simply resign, perhaps for obvious reasons. (they have over stepped their egotism, or their username has been corrupted more than they like)
Some of the 'new' posters have been hiding in the woodwork for many years, with little activity, then all of a sudden they spring into life with rabid activity.
Weird that!
Considering the bigotry, hypocrisy, deviousness and dishonesty displayed by many of them (a**e end, eeyore, r&c, mitch, vinty, bodd, gasbag, doggie, mightygob, rogerIQ28, foxtrot Oscar, grouchycorgi, et al) it is sensible to consider the obvious.
Many of them are plumbers. Weird that!
Perhaps there is another explanation, many of them, being plumbers have rarely posted in GD forum, but their loyalties are to other plumbers. (a**e end has told us about regular meetings. Foxtrot Oscar has told us about 'plots' in CC forum, and gasbag has told us about gossip in CC forum)
Perhaps, that is true but also perhaps they do not wish to post under their 'plumbers' username, so they invent a new username just for GD forum.
There are many possible explanations. Just as perhaps they are genuinely new members.
It is not paranoia to consider all possibilities. Indeed it is sensible to do so.
But someone who jumps at the opportunity to suggest paranoia is displaying similar shortsighted views as those that have preceded them.
You must admit that your behaviour was obviously not that of a new member, but that of one who is very familiar with past comments, seems to have a 'score to settle' and aims directly at me with their very first post, one minute after signing on. Weird that!
