Problem is that the "job Web Sites" tend to offer permanent full time.

If you can find a really niche area of your work area then you need to exploit that.

I've personally found the more money I've made the more stressed and strung out I become. The years were my income was down a bit, I was actually pretty relaxed and had time to do stuff I wanted.

@geek84 - If you are currently employed as an accountant, then you aren't going to be popular if you moonlight.

Being an accountant, you should be able to work out what you can and cannot buy and even sort out a good mortgage.........................unless you do work in a library.

The 100k figure was a bit misleading... but that said, tube drivers are paid well. Unfortunately, if you want to be one you have to already work for TFL, as all driver recruitment is internal.
