Ok, yet another UPVC door topic, sorry. We have a UPVC door and I got the installers to tighten it up as it was drafty. Thing is, they did it a bit TOO tight and my Mrs has trouble shutting and locking it so I want to loosen it a little. I have two questions:
1 Am I best just adjusting the catch/shot bolts (I think that's what you call them - the things you adjust with an Allen key on the side of the door) or should I be adjusting the hinges as well?
2 Should you always adjust ALL the bolts i.e. keep them in parallel? Or can you play around with them trying different settings to get the best result? Or might that cause a distortion in the door?
Many thanks!
