Hi had to change junction box whilst doing our bedroom as it had cracked. Thought I had done like for like but all if he lights work off 3 gang switch in lounge but one wall light of three does not switch on and off anymore. Any ideas image attached of junction box. Top left cable from permanent on wall light. Bottom right cable runs to next junction box and onto ceiling light. Top right go on to switch etc. Bottom left single neutral as continuity of single neutral wires

There are a few issues with that JB. One cable ,bottom right , has red and black insulated conductors ,what does the black one connect to ,and where is that cables earth Conductor ?
The second cable ,bottom right, has no earth conductor connected to the earth terminal ( where the other earth conductors are) ,and it's blue cable is cut ,is that conductor not in use ?
The fourth terminal ( top one ) has a blue conductor in it and nothing else ,why ?
Please confirm that the wall light stays on permanently , irrespective of its switches position ,and have you done anything at the switches ?

In the first picture, is it possible that broken red wire could have gone with the yellow and other red?

Ok, a bit easier then. You've replaced the old red and black to a couple of fittings with new brown and blue. What has happened to the single core (with grey sheath) connecting to 2nd from R terminal in the old pic?
And as someone else mentioned, have you done anything with the switching, i'm struggling to see how it has ever worked

Cables in the old are not the same cables as in the new.
Clearly this isn't just changing a junction box, most of the cables have been replaced as well.

For any chance of a solution, you will need to explain exactly what has been done, and where the other end of all of those cables are connected.

Hi all thanks for posts, your comments ensured I reviewed all cables and the light able brown wire was connected to permant live moving that to the switched live on first terminal allowed switch to work again
