Low Pitched Roofing

I am looking around at various roofing ideas and stumbled across Britmet tiles, they claim to be able to be used on roof pitches 5 and above. Doesn't this go against building regulations?

Does a felt/EPDM/GRP/Sp roof go against? ...all relatively cheap

If a manufacturer certifies his roof coverings for any particular angle, then that satisfies building regulations
