With solar panels we are dependent on weather as to how much energy is available. There are some devices that only work when there is solar available, my immersion heater for example, however the method used is to measure export, and only to switch on when the export exceeds a set level, this is OK with one device, but would not work with say 6 devices, and with so many devices, once started, they need to complete.
So the three main are dish washer, washing machine, and tumble drier, all will not start it switched on at the wall, so can't use any plug in adaptor, only option is either a delayed start, or a manual start, so if not home even if the weather is good, I can't use the big three, I know one can set up bots to press the buttons, but likely this bypasses safety checks, so are there machines coming onto the market designed to use excess solar power?
