Maddening

Option 4.

Brexit increases costs, and trade reduces.
Consumers pay higher prices.
Traders profits reduce.
Your wine costs you more.

That's what you wanted, and what you voted for.
Like I said, I’m still waiting. Any chance of letting us know when it’s going to happen?

Just like EVERYTHING else, business will find its own level. Don’t trouble your tiny mind about it. It’s insignificant. Nearly 4 weeks in and I’m still personally to find increased prices or lack of goods due to Brexit. When do you think it’s going to happen?

Just like EVERYTHING else, business will find its own level.

When? What does that mean? Adjust for what benefit? In that case raise corp taxes to 35%. Why not?

You voted Brexit to poke your finger in the eye of the supposed elites. You ended up shooting yourself in your foot.

Personally - there is that again. The personal experience trumps facts. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

UK wine drinkers face higher prices as Brexit hangover kicks in
Cost of a single bottle likely to rise about £1.50 because of additional paperwork, say merchants

Already Happened for buying from EU,or selling to EU consumers. Daily Mail not mentioned it?

Shouldn’t that say "UK EU wine drinkers face higher prices as Brexit hangover kicks in?"

I’ve still to notice it. Like I said, business will find its own level and IF the cost of wine from EU countries rises, I and I won’t be the only one, will look to buying wine from non EU countries. You seem to forget the EU countries were crying their eyes out only a little while ago because us horrible Brits couldn’t visit them and spend all our lovely money.

It won't be dark. We have done maybe half a dozen similar extensions (including on my own home) and the light reduction to the space furthermost from the light source is minimal.

It's a brand new house and the estate has yet to be finished. It's just the two of them in a large four bed.

I thought house builders normally put restrictive covenants on extensions within the first 2 years. Hope they checked.

I’d say the real losers are going to be the retailers in the EU or EU residents. It could go three ways.
1. U.K. residents stop buying from the EU
2. EU retailers swallow the costs
3. EU retailers use it as an excuse to raise prices for all.

If all options are taken up, that’ll be a real kick up the 'arris for EU businesses and retailers.

Get Brexit done. LoL.
"Logistics and warehousing companies in the Netherlands are being inundated with requests from British businesses looking to rent warehouse space, as the country experiences a Brexit boom in investment and jobs.

Thousands of small businesses have been plunged into crisis by the UK’s departure from the EU, with exports to the continent collapsing because of delays at ports, increased shipping costs, and the sudden addition of VAT, customs duties, and in some cases tariffs, on shipments sent from the UK to customers within the bloc.

Many have been left with no option but to invest in distribution networks within the EU, and the Dutch logistics industry is reaping the rewards."

Brexit...

The UK 'got done over' alright! (n)
