I'm not hung up, merely intrigued. I can't think of any reason, commercial or otherwise, for creating a 'price list' with such ridiculous prices in it. Yes, it enables people to claim massive 'reductions', but no-one with even a slight knowledge of the market is going to believe that they are ever sold for the prices in that list!

That's potentially a good reason for favouring them, should one want such heights. It's something I wasn't aware of, and I can't say that I have ever noticed radiators with those heights.

However, in general, the more I think about it, the more I come to the conclusion that, other than in relation to aesthetics (and even that varies very little) there really is very little to choose between makes, other than price. They presumably all 'work' (give a heat output roughly as claimed), don't leak and last for a pretty long time - so I reckon that, at least for me, it really just comes down to price (and availability) - and even that does not,in general, vary al, that much.
