Making a small box

Well I didn't really want a seamless corner, that was the effect I was after. I used the orbital sander with that paper, and its now unbelieveably smooth.

tom please make shure you have removed all swirls before you oil or varnish you wont see them dry but the they will appear try a damp finger

very very fine cabinet paper with the grain 180 or 240

ahh right, the grain on the orbital is 240, so if I get a sheet from B&Q etc, and use it along the grain rather than across, that'll sort it?

if youve got 240 on the sander just take the sheet off wrap it round a block of wood and finnish with the grain
