I'm afraid rhat I take "Mr Skokum" with a pinch of salt after he panned the Festool saws without understanding the difference in usage between a Fessy and a Skilsaw.... His review of that tool is just a joke
In ters of the Makita betteries I have to admit that if you were careless with them the earlier (pre Makstar) batteries and B-series tools were a combination whwre thye user could kill the batteries through abuse. The current Makstar + D-series tools seem to be almost idiot proof - although idiots can be remarkable ingenious, I'm told!
