Is this it?
No worries, I had a feeling I'd seen it somewhere as I used to use jmw a bit when I was in telecoms. The BT test stuff used to be rebadged (good quality) kit (probably still is I'm a long time out of BT) have a look at the davy lamps on ebay that have BT or GPO on them.
Actually seeing your post reminded me I've got a TDR amongst other test kit just in case I go back to telecoms...need to dig it out and have a play...
I`m looking for a cable tracer - any preference?
I'm V pleased with the mole so far, I've only had it a day and its helped me find a High resistance joint on an internal pair that i've been trying to find for ages (and looking in totally the wrong place)

They are a great bit of kit particularity if you're dealing with faults on long/awkward access runs, a 9083 and a tone tracer will get you through most faults but the TDR pinpoints the problem. I've used it on coax too works just as well.
Just looked them up on ebay
It's not something I've used - reads as a multimeter/mega/TDR all in one I prefer my kit as separate entities so I've got some back up if one bit goes wrong. I'd hope it's a good bit of kit at the prices asked!!
I've got a bit of kit made by Ziad that was a buttphone/multimeter/keypad tester that I rarely used as I had to think too much about what settings to use anytime I went to use it!

Have you also used the BT Hawk?
They are available on eBay, but i'm not sure about buying one because presumably they are stolen.
